Expedient Joins Zerto as a Partner in DRaaS

Expedient, a provider of cloud computing services and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), has experienced tremendous growth since their original launch as US VoiceData in 2001. The team experienced record growth in 2017 for its disaster-recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS) offerings, which effectively doubled its revenue for the second year in a row.

As if this achievement wasn't enough, Expedient is one of the newest partners in Zerto's Platinum Partner program. Not only does this solidify their reputation in the industry, but it puts them in a great position to see even more revenue in the coming years.

Enjoying Great Company

Officially known as the Zerto Alliance Partner Program, or ZAP, the initiative supports enterprises with one of three distinct business models: channel, cloud or technology. The recent announcement places Expedient alongside the likes of Microsoft, IBM, AWS, Nutanix, Pure Storage and many more as Zerto Platinum Partners.

In reality, Expedient is only the fourth cloud services provider to achieve partnership status in the program. Although it's likely that more partners in the niche will be named, especially as the global market for cloud-based services is forecasted to exceed $12 billion by 2022, it remains a significant achievement for the company.

The program features four different levels: basic, silver, gold and platinum. Under the platinum umbrella, Expedient benefits from access to sales and technical certifications, support for marketing campaigns, business plan development, dedicated account management and much more.

John White, vice president of product strategy for Expedient, spoke enthusiastically about the new partnership by saying: ''"We feel that, being named a Zerto Platinum Partner, on the heels of our first-ever positioning in the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service, is a testament to our continued innovations in the DRaaS space. Doubling our year-over-year revenue growth in the category further affirms Expedient's commitment to our DRaaS customers."

Don Wales, vice president of global cloud sales with Zerto, shared his sentiments by saying:
"As organizations increasingly depend on the cloud for IT resiliency, partnerships with leading cloud services providers like Expedient are more important than ever. Expedient's DRaaS growth underscores the company's cloud expertise, and we're proud to have them as our newest Zerto Platinum Partner."''

Expedient's primary goal is to protect mission-critical information and prevent unexpected data loss. This includes confidential or sensitive information, credit card and financial data, company trade secrets, consumer health records, and more. Not only will their new partnership increase the robustness and versatility of such services, but they'll ultimately help them gain a better position in the market and serve even more customers in the niche of data storage and disaster recovery.
